If You are using wordpress.com
You can’t install the plugin in wordpress.com because it is of a free platform for bloggers. wordpress.com has Limited access, to get more access you need to upgrade your plan.
Well, you can install if you have a self-hosting wordpress.org.
How To Install WordPress Plugins
There are three methods to install WordPress plugin Is WordPress plugin search, upload method, and using FTP. now I will tell step by step guide of all these three methods.
Method #1: How To Install The Plugin With WordPress Plugin Search
The easiest way to install the WordPress plugin is plugin search. here you get all free plugins from the WordPress add directory.
Now I am installing Theme Check Plugin
The first thing you need to do is go to your WordPress admin/ dashboard and click on Plugins >> Add New.

For Example, I am using Theme Checker after that, you get a bunch of results listed for example Below
Now select the plugin which is rated more and click on the “Install Now” Button.
WordPress plugin will not work until you don’t activate it. To activate just click on the activate link to activate your plugin.

Method #2: Install WordPress Plugin With WordPress Admin Plugin Upload.
Another side of hope you have premium or paid plugins, Which are not listed in the WordPress directory. so for paid or premium plugin, you need to download from their official site
These plugins are cannot install with the first method so so there is a different method to install this type of plugin.
Firstly you need to download the source code ( source code is always in the zip file) After downloading the source code.
The second step is needed to log in to your WordPress dashboard or admin area. and visit Plugins >> Add New Page
Now click on the upload plugin at the top of the page.
After that, you go to plugin upload page where I need to choose a file which has download earlier from your computer. after selecting the file click on install button.
WordPress will upload your file from the computer and install it for you. You get a success message after the plugin is installed.
Click on the activate button to activate your plugin next and the last step is to configure your plugin.
Different Plugin has a different Configuring option so we are not covering that topic.
Method #3: Install WordPress Plugin Using Cpanel
In some case hosting will not provide you to install Plugin, So that time doesn’t worry the C panel method will help you to install the plugin without any error.
Firstly download the source code ( source code is always in the zip file)
Now visit you are a control panel to visit in control panel just type www. yourdomain.com/cpanel once you visited Cpanel login page you need to enter your username password which is provided by your hosting company.
Once you have visited your backside and then go to WP content and plugins after that you need to upload that the file which you have downloaded.
To upload the zip file click on the upload and select the file from the computer. once you have uploaded successfully, then go back to plugins folder in your Cpanel.
Select your zip file and click the right button to extract the folder once you have extracted delete your zip file.
Now it’s time to activate your plugin to activate just go to your WordPress admin click on Plugins >> Installed plugins find your plugin and click activate button.
